2012 Canadian Watercraft Racing and Freestyle Tour Announcement
The CWA is ple…ased to announce the return of an IJSBA sanctioned watercraft racing and freestyle tour to Canada for 2012. After a successful event in Belle River in 2010, the CWA coordinated two events in 2011. Last year, the Belle River event qualified as the official Canadian Nationals, and Burlington?s MJ Cup was added at the request of Olga Janssen, the founder of the event, as it had grown beyond the charity gathering she started six years ago.
This year?s tour will have four stops:
June 23-24 Burlington, ON
July 14-15 Harbor Beach, MI
July 21-22 Belle River, ON
Aug 25-26 TBA in Eastern Ontario
Details about the tour and specific events will be shared within the coming weeks. We appreciate all of the communication from racers expressing interest in participating in a CWA tour this year, along with all of the pledges of support to make it happen.
