You know when you been bitten by the jet ski bug. There is an ice flow in the bay but since it is over 60 degrees ( not the water just the air ) you throw on the dry suite and fire up the Yamaha. My friends from on Lake Marie called me to say that they finely beat me out on being the first to ride for the new season. Yeh that was Phil and Dave I saw the other day. My old Yamaha FX1 and a Kawasaki SXR.
I was on my way home from the kick off the season party at Lake County Power Sports when my phone rang.” Hey “said the voice ” we beat you “. That was us the other day. Two years ago I sold Phil my Yamaha FX1. He was riding a Kawasaki 550 so it did not take him long to make the transition. My friend Dave introduced me to Phil Dave was doing some tale stalls on his Kawasaki SXR just off my launch when I met him a few years ago. Phil went on to say that they want me to go riding this week I told them I would. The ice has melted but the water is still cold. Oh well I was bitten by the jet ski bug a long time ago. Now where did I put my dry socks?
