At first glance I did not notice anything out of the ordinary. Then, after a little more reading I noticed something that not only had I not noticed before, but that I had not read before either…
It seems as though the IJSBA, amidst all of the global economic turmoil, is going to become active on at least a regional basis for 2009. Dormant for over 5 years now, the IJSBA has remained the host of the World Finals, but has not recently promoted local race events. This changed just over a month ago when Upstate Watercraft Promotions announced their departure from the APBA and new association with the IJSBA. Recently the IJSBA added the Great Lakes Watercross Tour to their roster of Regional Circuits. I wonder if there is an IJSBA National playoff in the works here…
