Another 2010 tour event is over and in the books. For me, the event ended just as it had started… With a blow-out on the trailer. Between flat tires, I was able to pick up Brock and make it all the way from Chicago to Syracuse for round #2 of the IJSBA National tour. Tour promoter AJ Handler once again went out of his way to show the world how to put on an event that caters to both premier watercraft racers and fans. From clean and ultra executive style porto-lets, to a killer riders party at the local Quaker state Steak & Lube.
The water was flat and the race course tight. With a camera crew on hand from the Outdoor Life Network, the riders hit the beach early Saturday morning running their first of 3 motos.
The weeds did post an interesting challenge for us freestylers. If they weren’t being sucked up into the intake area, they were culprits in killing any wave that we would lay up in their path.
