It’s that time of year agin.

Though I hate to admit it, It is cold out there or at least here in the mid-west. Time to work on that ski for next years riding.

Yeah, I know I just wrote about the new riding gear, and I will still be riding for a while. Let’s face it now is the best time to get planning for next season. Boat building at the Freestyle Factory has already begun. We still have a few parts in stock like X-Metalworks handle poles and exaust systems. Not to mention some Riva and Wamiltons jetski parts. This is the point in my season when I tend to use up the Freestyle Factory’s overstock of jetski parts on my own projects. Heres how I like to handle these cabin fever days. The first thing I do is pop in a watercraft dvd to get me in the mood. I recomend one of those Twangled video’s. Hey I here they are going to release a new DVD this spring call “Twangulation when Twangled gets strangled” about time I say. Ok,Ok thats enough of me plugging our Twangled products. The next thing I do is fire up the furnace out in the shop add some bright work lights and I am ready to go. Remember to sretch that back out wrenching is a workout of it’s own and many forget that until the next day when you wakeup with a sore back. Parts also are often found on sale at this time so you can save some cash too. Along with our XFT backflip hulls I am re-doing my Wammer ski new X-Metalworks exuast system, new foot straps (my own invention to go along with the built in footwells) and paint. This year I think I may follow in my teammate Mike Hoffman’s footsteps and add some flames to the nose. All this just keeps me happy until the APBA season gets rolling and we are out on the tour agin. I know those that live in warm climates may not understand but the time off the water can be very productive. So get out their and build baby build lets use up that parts inventory. Don’t be afraid people like Patrick Bogart of X-Meatlworks and Sergio Bueno of XFT will surely make more.
