December 26, 2008 ?Lake Elsinore Watercraft Event- DMPMOTORSPORT.COM
Lake Elsinore?s premier personal watercraft racing event returns for a second
consecutive year to Lake Elsinore with an exciting combination of professional
and amateur pwc racing and freestyle competitions. Racing dates are 2/21/09,
3/21/09, 5/9/09, 8/22/09, and 9/19/09.

IJSBA World champion?s Emi Kanamori and Craig Warner will be competing in
the series, which benefits the Coalition to Improve Education, the official charity
of the event. Local racers will be competing in the 5 round series along with
riders from all over the west coast who will travel the distance to participate and
support the events as well. This race will showcase the many different water
craft in a structured and organized race event for everyone to enjoy.
The Lake Elsinore PWC Events are the newest edition to the American Power
Boat Association?s national line-up of sanctioned races. ?We?re excited about the
opportunity to bring back action packed watercraft racing to Southern California?
said Lisa Price, volunteer Chief Course Marshal for DMP Motorsports, the
event?s promoter. ?Region 1 (southern California) has long been the region to
beat on a national level as it?s jam-packed with major talent in the sport. The
response to the initial races held in Lake Elsinore last fall was so overwhelming
well received from racers and spectators alike, David Pulley of DMP Motorsports
decided to step up in a big way and begin promoting these races. Thankfully
David and his family, as well as an army of volunteers care deeply about the
sport and will do what it takes to run professional quality, exciting races in this
beautiful, welcoming venue at Lake Elsinore. I?m excited for the 2009 series.
The race action will warm up with rider?s safety meetings held first thing in the
morning, and organized practices shortly thereafter. Closed course racing in a
two moto format is scheduled to begin by 10:00 a.m. each round. Spectators can
enjoy the sizzling action both on the closed course, as well as during the
freestyle competitions as both are conveniently located close to shore for
spectator?s viewing pleasure.
Veteran as well as new racer?s alike are welcome to compete. For pointers on
how to get involved in pwc racing, please contact David Pulley at
