Though the south west winds brought in the sunshine the water laid down flat. This was great for racing but freestylers would have to make their own waves if they wanted to impress the crowd. No problem. Just add two 1200cc Sea-doo runabouts and double up!
Thanks to help from some tired racers freestyle got a little lift. after performing flat water Barrel rolls and some amazing throws the crowd got a treat as the runabout riders provided a small double up wave by running their 1200s side by side. Back flips became the trick of the day as riders eagerly made run after run until they were worn out. The locals also helped out with their cabin cruisers as they made several passes by the race course. The air got bigger and bigger. Flips, rolls and some great crashes kept fans on the edge of their seats. Burtka took first again with a huge back flip to end his routine. Brock took second with some nice airy barrel rolls. Thank you to Scott Hyke for having us out and thnks to the people and city of Kenosha for allowing us to come out and play. Great site, great fans , great racing and freestyle action.
