Team Twangled is back from Round 1 of the National tour and preparing for a grueling drive to New York for round 2 over Memorial Day weekend in Syracuse.
Panama City was a complete success in terms of overall events, as mostly friendly weather and plush beaches were a fantastic backdrop for Round 1 of the IJSBA National Tour. Freestyle was run on both days, and single day finishes were combined for overall event finishes.
Six pro and one amateur freestyler showed up for the opening round of the tour. Riders battled for cash and trophies for top overall finishers.
With shallow salt water and unpredictable surf conditions, the freestyle contest was open to the rider willing to backflip, barrel roll and flarrel roll in 2-4 foot of water.
