We are very excited to announce the addition of Steve Bach to the Twangled Motors Division. Steve is coming in to assist with all sales and distribution of both Backie Chan and Splashster Watercraft. “With many new and exciting products to soon be announced, we needed to bolt on some horsepower to ensure that our sales and distribution can meet the needs of our growing customer base.” Said Gary Burtka, President of Twangled Inc.
In the summer of 2015, Steve proved that budget-minded amateur freestylers could quickly and easily learn to backflip using a Backie Chan. Armed with a limited Yamaha 760 setup, (dual carbs, b-pipe, charging system, stock pump) and a fiberglass Backie Chan hull, Steve would not only quickly learn to flip, but would also start on a crusade of getting other am’s flipping in just a ride or two!
Steve was one of the first Backie Chan customers, supporters and believers. He has developed a series of gas tanks and water boxes designed specifically for the Backie Chan through his company Braap Werks, and is in development on similar parts for the Splashster. With Steve’s mechanical and metal fabrication expertise, we hope to continue to expand our product offering and quality.
