Antioch, Illinois – TAG Racing International extends its contract to produce the LXF tour. The LXF Tour, is a series of competitive and non-competitive freestyle jet ski events.
These events feature some of the world’s top freestyle jet ski riders. In 2009 the LXF Tour will perform in front of an estimated 4 million spectators at Air & Water Shows and boat races throughout the Midwest. TAG Racing President Dave Larson said. “This year is rolling up into a great season. We will have a top-notch Triple Crown to highlight all of the new jet ski technology that has come about over the past few years.”
The technology that Larson s referring to is the ultra light, high-horsepower carbon fiber jet skis that the LXF pro competitors use.
This new technology has only come about in the past two or three years. With lighter watercraft and better performing engines, the athletes are able to launch the jet skis into the air and complete back flips and side flips from multiple angles. The TAG Racing LXF Tour is a one-of-a-kind tour in that it is the only tour in North America that promotes and sanctions events strictly for freestyle competitors only.
LXF officials plan to continue to introduce this tour and concept through broadcast stations, internet sites, newspapers, and magazines. The concept and tour were originally introduced in 2000 at the Chicago Air and Water Show.
