After talking with Scott Fasier of the IJSBA it sounds like it could be quite a competition at this years World Finals in Pro Freestyle.
Alexander Lenzie has indicated that he will be traveling to Havasu this year as well as many of the regular names in Pro Freestyle. One name that won’t be competing this year is Eric Malone. Though he will be there to run a clinic for Jr riders a reported wrist injury will keep him from running this year. So far there are about eight riders signed up for Pro Freestyle. Until we get some better guide lines for freestyle comps this number will probably remain small. As I have said before we need a better judging system but these things take time. This year Patrick Mel of the APBA started down the path of change with a new two class system for amature riders. This will not be the case at world finals though so riders in amature should bring there A game (motors, hulls, all you got boys & girls) your going to need it. Motors in amature are still limmited to 800cc and Pro class 1200cc check with Scott to be sure that what you are planning to ride will be legal. Still in all I am pumped and ready to ride. Hope to see you there.
