What do snowmobiles, Quads, Three wheelers and dirt bikes have to do with jetskis

They were all found out on Lake Marie last weekend.

I was watching the snowmobile segment of our up coming video Twangulation. When I noticed that alot of the segment was on frozen Lake Marie. On any weekend all over the frozen north you will find that the lakes come alive. Motocross bikes even mini bikes with spikes in the tires racing around just like jetskis in the summer. We just love play on water. It doesn’t matter wether it is frozen or liquid. Give me a motor and an open space and I will find a way to link the two together. Nothing like a large open surface that just begs us to get out and go fast. Got to love the snowmobiles. Here is a machine that weighs about 500lbs and yet you will find them screaming across the lake even across the open water areas, Crazy stuff. I will admit that there are some dangers involved in winter on a lake. Ice can be unpredictable. Water often is, but when you fall through the ice you have a very limited time to get out or you will find yourself in big trouble.Every year we lose some one to a crash through the ice so be careful and never ride alone. Hey thats just what they say about jetskiing never ride alone. I like to tow the neighbor kids around in a Kawasaki 550 hull with my Honda three wheeler. We allways wait untill the ice is nice and thick at least 10 to 12 inches. If you have not had the expirence of winter moto fun you are missing out. If you do decide to check out frozen fun just be sure you go with some one that knows the area wear the right clothing and use your head. I think it is awsome that no matter what state the water is in it can still bring us together. I hope you all get a chance to come out and play with us northern folks, and remember always keep your stick on the ice.
