Winter is the time to flex those wrenching muscles.

After Havasu the team returned home with only one boat running and I knew we were in for a winter workout.

The 2007 season was a riot. It did however take its toll on Team Twangled’s jetskies. By the time we had returned from Havasu and the World Finals we were down to one running boat. Oh, and that boat had the wrong engine in it. Thank goodness for the heated garage. Burtka and I have been spending our time cranking on cranks, a few engine curls and the always fun waterbox swap. I recomend a good stretching out before you stand bent over your ski for hours trying to shim your motor or re-do your wiring. To be honest I love it. Good workout and that feeling of accomplishment that comes when you fire that baby up. My latest project for staying in shape has been the X-Metal waterbox installation. Great way to lose pounds and gain horse power. Gary has been deep in a wiring workout. I know that we will have our fleet ready for this season. I hope you will too. See you on the water!
